Welcome to MURI Nonlinear Tracking Wiki!

The main objective of the project is to develop new Non-Linear Filtering (NLF) algorithms for large-scale spatial-temporal data. This technology will enable to simultaneously analyze large number of targets and/or complicated evolving spatial patterns based on incomplete and noisy observations. NLF is a field on the cutting edge of contemporary stochastic analysis, information theory, and statistical inference, which has an enormous breadth of applications, including target-tracking, video-surveillance, activity recognition and tracking, to name a few.
